Picture for Proof

This series of paintings are an attempt to process years of researching content attached to thousands of far-right Telegram account profiles. I try to locate humanity in these abject portraits as the images take form, relying on automatism rather than directly referencing any individual source material, and synthesizing the repetitive fascist memes and symbols that signal in-group status.
