About the Living Room Sculptures
This older body of work was an exploration of flattened and fractured living spaces using the language of carnival funhouses. These larger than life sculptures of furniture contained elements that could be taken apart and reassembled like puzzle pieces. Viewers were invited to move individual elements of the installation around, interacting physically with the work in order to create new narrative tableaus.
